I always derive great pleasure from creating custom-made percussion instruments and accessories. Since there is often very little time between the initial enquiry and the required completion date, the primary focus shifts entirely to functionality and the technical challenges of the craftsmanship itself. Elaborate aesthetic design or even professional photographic documentation must, therefore, take a back seat.
